Wet Scotland
8th June 1946: Schoolchildren from Sussex and Leicestershire prepare for wet weather during a trip around the Coigach coast in the West Scottish Highlands. The children stayed at a Youth Hostel in Achininver, near Achiltibuie, and tried rock climbing, peat cutting and gathering seaweed during their educational holiday which introduced them to a crofter's way of life.
