Riding The Skeeter

Louis Richards, a graduate student of Illinois Institute of Technology's Institute of Design, riding his new invention, a 'skeeter' power scooter for pedestrians, USA, circa 1959. It consists of an 18" platform and an upright aluminium handle, and is powered by a 1.32 hp model aircraft engine. Behind him is the Tribune Tower in Chicago.
