STS-80 Space Shuttle Columbia

The Wake Shield Facility (WSF) against the darkness of space after it was deployed by the Space Shuttle Columbia during mission STS-80 from Kennedy Space Center on Merritt Island, Florida, 19th November to 7th December 1996. STS-80 carried the Orbiting and Retrievable Far and Extreme Ultraviolet Spectrometer-Shuttle Pallet Satellite II (ORFEUS-SPAS II) along with the Wake Shield Facility (WSF).
